The Colcord Hornets (Colcord, OK) softball routed the visiting Welch Wildcats (Welch, OK), 12-1 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Hornets (5-8) will now prepare for their bout against Afton (Afton, OK). The Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 7-4 record. In their last challenge, Afton was routed by Adair (Adair, OK), 6-2, in a non-league challenge.
With the loss, Welch falls to 0-12 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Foyil (Foyil, OK) to face the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 8. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 1-3.
