The Bulldogs (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Swain County (Bryson City, NC). The Maroon Devils enter the Smoky Mountain 1A/2A battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Swain County tipped Summit Charter (Cashiers, NC), 1-0, in a league battle.

In their next game, the Jaguars meet the Andrews Wildcats (Andrews, NC) in a Smoky Mountain 1A/2A test, on Wednesday, September 3. Tri-County will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 1-0 league loss to Hayesville (Hayesville, NC).
