The Marysville Indians topped the host Gridley Bulldogs volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Indians now have a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bear River for a test on Wednesday, September 14. Marysville will confront a Bruins team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Twelve Bridges (Lincoln, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 2-2.
The Bulldogs (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Rio Linda (Rio Linda, CA). The Knights enter the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Rio Linda was knocked off by Woodland (Woodland, CA), 2-0, in a league test.
