Northwestern Huskies (West Salem, OH) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Chippewa Chipps (Doylestown, OH), 5-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Huskies confront the Coventry Comets (Akron, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 15. Northwestern will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record.

The Chipps now possess a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Waynedale for a Wayne County challenge on Tuesday, September 13. Chippewa will confront a Golden Bears team coming off a 6-0 league win over Rittman (Rittman, OH). The Golden Bears record now stands at 8-1.
