Maine High School Soccer - Maine Central Institute knocks off Nokomis

Maine Central Institute Huskies (Pittsfield, ME) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Nokomis Warriors (Newport, ME), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Huskies confront the Mount View Mustangs (Thorndike, ME) in a Class C - North challenge, on Saturday, September 17. Maine Central Institute will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record.

The Warriors now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Waterville for a Class B - North challenge on Tuesday, September 13. Nokomis will confront a Panthers team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Mount View (Thorndike, ME). The Panthers record now stands at 1-2.
