The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Freedom Falcons (Oakley, CA) and the visiting Alhambra Bulldogs (Martinez, CA), saw Freedom's volleyball squad beat Alhambra by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Freedom upgrades its record to 7-9 on the year. The Falcons travel to Pittsburg (Pittsburg, CA) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 10. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Pittsburg won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Clayton Valley Charter (Concord, CA)

The Bulldogs now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Las Lomas for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 13. Alhambra will play a Knights squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Freedom (Oakley, CA). The Knights record now stands at 9-2.
