The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the St. Monica Mariners (Santa Monica, CA) and the host Beverly Hills Normans (Beverly Hills, CA), saw St. Monica's volleyball squad nip Beverly Hills by a tally of 1-0.

With the win, St. Monica upgrades its record to 6-8 on the year. The Mariners travel to Los Angeles CES (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Unicorns in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 10. The Unicorns go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Los Angeles CES lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Eagle Rock (Los Angeles, CA)

The Normans now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Morningside for a Pioneer bout on Tuesday, September 13.
