The Lake Cormorant (Lake Cormorant, MS) volleyball overcame the host Center Hill Mustangs (Olive Branch, MS), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Lake Cormorant upgrades its record to 14-5 on the year. The travel to Saltillo (Saltillo, MS) to face the Tigers in a Class 5 Region 2 outing on Tuesday, September 13. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 2-5. Saltillo lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Kossuth (Kossuth, MS)

The Mustangs now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Olive Branch for a Class 6 Region 1 outing on Tuesday, September 13. Center Hill will face a Conquistadors squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to DeSoto Central (Southaven, MS). The Conquistadors record now stands at 2-3.
