The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Fennimore Golden Eagles (Fennimore, WI) and the host Potosi Chieftains (Potosi, WI), saw Fennimore's volleyball squad nip Potosi by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Fennimore upgrades its record to 7-5 on the year. The Golden Eagles host Darlington (Darlington, WI) to play the Redbirds in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities bout on Monday, September 12. The Redbirds go into the bout with a record of 7-5. Darlington won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Lodi (Lodi, WI)

The Chieftains now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to River Ridge for a Six Rivers - Western bout on Tuesday, September 13.
