The Rebels (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Alcorn Central (Glen, MS). The Bears enter the non-league challenge with a 15-4 record. In their last challenge, Alcorn Central nipped Corinth (Corinth, MS), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Commodores encounter the Belmont Cardinals (Belmont, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 10. Lafayette will attempt to move on its 11-6 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 18-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Ripley (Ripley, MS).
