The Mt. Morris Panthers (Mt. Morris, MI) volleyball overcame the visiting Laker Lakers (Pigeon, MI), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.
With the win, Mt. Morris upgrades its record to 26-7 on the year. The Panthers host Stoney Creek (Rochester Hills, MI) to face the Cougars in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 10. The Cougars go into the outing with a record of 1-5.
The Lakers now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Reese for a Greater Thumb - West outing on Tuesday, September 13. Laker will face a Rockets squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Vassar (Vassar, MI). The Rockets record now stands at 2-0.
