Wisconsin High School Volleyball - Superior over Mellen

Superior Spartans (Superior, WI) backers left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Mellen Granite Diggers (Mellen, WI), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Spartans battle the Ashland Oredockers (Ashland, WI) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 10. Superior will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record. The Oredockers come into the match with a 6-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Duluth East (Duluth, MN).

With the loss, Mellen drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Granite diggers host South Shore (Port Wing, WI) to battle the Cardinals in a Indianhead - East match on Monday, September 12. The Cardinals come into the match with a record of 3-5.
