The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Russell Broncos (Russell, KS) and the host Northern Valley Huskies (Almena, KS), saw Russell's volleyball squad beat Northern Valley by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Russell upgrades its record to 8-3 on the year. The Broncos travel to Stockton (Stockton, KS) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 10. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Stockton lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, KS)

The Huskies now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Russell for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 10. Northern Valley will play a Broncos squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Ellis (Ellis, KS). The Broncos record now stands at 4-2.
