In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Pleasant Valley Raiders volleyball team scored a tight 1-0 triumph over the Springville Tigers.

The Raiders (11-4) will now prepare for their battle against Donoho (Anniston, AL). The Falcons come into the non-league battle with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, Donoho nudged Cherokee County (Centre, AL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Oxford Yellow Jackets (Oxford, AL) in a 6A Area 13 battle, on Tuesday, September 13. Springville will attempt to advance on its 2-8 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the battle with a 3-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Faith Christian (Anniston, AL).
