California High School Volleyball - Reedley edged by Sierra

The Sierra Chieftains held off the host Reedley Pirates volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Chieftains now have a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chowchilla for a Northwest Sequoia test on Tuesday, September 13. Sierra will confront a Tribe team coming off a 3-1 league win over Liberty (Madera, CA). The Tribe record now stands at 13-4.

The Pirates (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Mission Oak (Tulare, CA). The Hawks enter the non-league test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Mission Oak held off Atascadero (Atascadero, CA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
