The Waterville-Elysian-Morristown Buccaneers (Waterville, MN) volleyball overcame the visiting St. Clair Cyclones (St. Clair, MN), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Buccaneers (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Randolph (Randolph, MN). The Rockets enter the Gopher challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Randolph went down by Kenyon-Wanamingo (Kenyon, MN), 3-1, in a league outing.

The Cyclones now sport a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Minnesota Valley Lutheran for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 10. St. Clair will face a Chargers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Sleepy Eye (Sleepy Eye, MN). The Chargers record now stands at 0-1.
