The Marshall County Marshals edged the host Christian Fellowship Eagles volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next up, the Marshals face the Mayfield Cardinals (Mayfield, KY) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 16. Marshall County will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Cardinals go into the game with a 0-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Graves County (Mayfield, KY).
The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Carlisle County (Bardwell, KY). The Comets go into the non-league game with a 1-0 record.
