The Central Academy Cougars edged the visiting Piedmont Panthers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next up, the Cougars confront the Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) in a non-league game, on Thursday, September 12. Central Academy will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Wolf Pack go into the game with a 5-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Anson (Wadesboro, NC).
The Panthers (4-3) will now prepare for their game against West Stanly (Oakboro, NC). The Colts go into the non-league game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, West Stanly nudged Forest Hills (Marshville, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
