In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Challenger Firebirds volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Christian Family Academy Fire.
The Firebirds (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy (Lincolnton, NC). The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 0-0 record.
Next, the Fire play the Challenger Firebirds (Hickory, NC) in a challenge, on Tuesday, September 17. Christian Family Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record.
