In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting James Logan Colts volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Newark Memorial Cougars.

The Colts (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Mission San Jose (Fremont, CA). The Warriors come into the challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Mission San Jose lost by American (Fremont, CA), 2-1, in a league battle.

The Cougars now own a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washington for a battle on Thursday, September 12. Newark Memorial will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Moreau Catholic (Hayward, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 0-1.
