In Tuesday's non-league match, the Salem Spartans (Salem, VA) volleyball squad tipped the host Northside Vikings (Roanoke, VA), by a count of 2-1.
Next up, the Spartans battle the Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA) in a match, on Thursday, September 12. Salem will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 4-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA).
