In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Roanoke Catholic Celtics volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Parry McCluer Fighting Blues.

The Celtics (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Staunton River (Moneta, VA). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Staunton River was beaten by Bassett (Bassett, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Fighting Blues meet the Nelson County Governors (Lovingston, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 12. Parry McCluer will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Governors enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA).
