Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Warrior Run Defenders (Turbotville, PA) and the host Bloomsburg Panthers (Bloomsburg, PA), saw Warrior Run's soccer squad hold off Bloomsburg by a count of 1-0.

The Defenders (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Loyalsock Township (Williamsport, PA). The Lancers enter the PIAA District IV-AA battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Loyalsock Township was edged by Central Columbia (Bloomsburg, PA), 8-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Panthers battle the Juniata Christian (McAlisterville, PA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 12. Bloomsburg will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The enter the battle with a 3-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Millville (Millville, PA).
