Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Charlestown Pirates (Charlestown, IN) and the host Silver Creek Dragons (Sellersburg, IN), saw Charlestown's soccer squad knock off Silver Creek by a count of 3-1.

The Pirates (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Salem (Salem, IN). The Lions enter the Mid-Southern battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Salem tipped North Harrison (Ramsey, IN), 6-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Dragons battle the Corydon Central Panthers (Corydon, IN) in a Mid-Southern battle, on Thursday, September 12. Silver Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 2-6 record after their 6-2 non-league win over Lanesville (Lanesville, IN).
