In Tuesday's non-league outing, the visiting Classical Purple soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the West Warwick Wizards.
The Purple (2-3) will now prepare for their outing against La Salle Academy (Providence, RI). The Rams go into the Division 1 outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, La Salle Academy was edged by Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI), 1-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Wizards play the Smithfield Sentinels (Esmond, RI) in a Division 2 outing, on Friday, September 13. West Warwick will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Sentinels go into the outing with a 2-1 record after their 1-0 league win over Coventry (Coventry, RI).
