Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Dunmore Bucks (Dunmore, PA) and the host West Scranton Invaders (Scranton, PA), saw Dunmore's soccer squad hold off West Scranton by a score of 2-1.

The Bucks (5-0) will now prepare for their battle against Gregory The Great Academy (Elmhurst Township, PA). The enter the Lackawanna - Division II battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Gregory The Great Academy was edged by Hanover Area (Hanover Township, PA), 5-2, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Invaders confront the Mid Valley Spartans (Throop, PA) in a Lackawanna - Division II battle, on Thursday, September 12. West Scranton will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 1-5 record after their 5-0 league loss to Lakeland (Jermyn, PA).
