With the triumph, Jackson Day advances its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Mariners host Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC) to clash with the Stallions in a Metro Eight 1A test on Friday, September 13. The Stallions come into the test with a record of 2-4. Queen's Grant lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC)

The Wildcats now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chambers for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 11. Sugar Creek will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Sugar Creek (Charlotte, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 2-0.
