Oceanside Mariners (Rockland, ME) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Nokomis Warriors (Newport, ME), 8-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Oceanside moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Mariners host Erskine Academy (South China, ME) to clash with the Eagles in a Class B - North test on Friday, September 13. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 1-1. Erskine Academy lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Gardiner (Gardiner, ME)

The Warriors now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Medomak Valley for a Class B - North test on Friday, September 13. Nokomis will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Maine Central Institute (Pittsfield, ME). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.
