In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting West Cabarrus Wolverines soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 victory over the South Iredell Vikings.

The Wolverines (5-5) will now prepare for their outing against Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC). The Wildcats go into the Greater Metro 4A outing with a 8-2 record. In their last outing, Lake Norman got by A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC), 2-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Vikings play the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC) in a Greater Metro 4A outing, on Tuesday, September 17. South Iredell will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Ragin' Bulls go into the outing with a 7-1 record after their 3-2 league loss to Mooresville (Mooresville, NC).
