In Tuesday's league test, the Lanier County Bulldogs (Lakeland, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Brooks County Trojans (Quitman, GA), by a count of 8-0.
Next, the Bulldogs meet the Charlton County Indians (Folkston, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 2 test, on Thursday, September 12. Lanier County will attempt to upgrade on its 12-2 season record. The Indians go into the test with a 6-7 record after their 18-1 league win over Atkinson County (Pearson, GA).
The Trojans (2-9) will now prepare for their test against Irwin County (Ocilla, GA). The Indians go into the 1A D-II Region 2 test with a 11-1 record. In their last test, Irwin County toppled Turner County (Ashburn, GA), 22-0, in a league test.
