In Tuesday's non-league test, the Wray/Yuma Eagles (Wray, CO) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Chase County Longhorns (Imperial, NE), by a count of 14-1.

Next, the Eagles meet the Valley Vikings (Gilcrest, CO) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 14. Wray/Yuma will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Vikings go into the test with a 6-6 record after their 17-0 league loss to University (Greeley, CO).

The Longhorns (0-8) will now prepare for their test against Hershey (Hershey, NE). The Panthers go into the C District test with a 0-8 record. In their last test, Hershey was routed by Highway 6 (Holdrege, NE), 12-0, in a non-league test.
