Nebraska High School Softball - Lincoln Northeast bounces Columbus

In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Lincoln Northeast Rockets softball team scored a nice 14-6 win over the Columbus Discoverers.
The Rockets (4-7) will now prepare for their match against Grand Island (Grand Island, NE). The Islanders come into the A District match with a 2-13 record. In their last match, Grand Island was routed by Lincoln Southeast (Lincoln, NE), 11-1, in a league match.
In their next game, the Discoverers battle the Lincoln East Spartans (Lincoln, NE) in a A District bout, on Thursday, September 12. Columbus will attempt to advance on its 4-8 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 10-6 record after their 14-6 league loss to Kearney (Kearney, NE).
