Next, the Wolverines play the Franklin County Lions (Carnesville, GA) in a 2A Region 8 challenge, on Thursday, September 12. Prince Avenue Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 12-3 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 12-7 record after their 8-0 league loss to Hebron Christian (Dacula, GA).

The Eagles (6-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Stephens County (Toccoa, GA). The Indians enter the 2A Region 8 challenge with a 15-2 record. In their last challenge, Stephens County overcame Hart County (Hartwell, GA), 14-2, in a league challenge.
