The Crusaders now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host First Preparatory Christian Academy for a GIAA Class A & AA District 6 battle on Wednesday, September 11. Robert Toombs Christian Academy will encounter a Highlanders team coming off a 21-3 non-league loss to Wheeler County (Alamo, GA). The Highlanders record now stands at 0-5.

With the loss, Edmund Burke Academy moves to 7-4 on the season. The Spartans host Thomas Jefferson Academy (Louisville, GA) to encounter the Jaguars in a GIAA Class A & AA District 4 battle on Thursday, September 12. The Jaguars come into the battle with a record of 4-3. Thomas Jefferson Academy won 8-1 in their recent league battle against Briarwood Academy (Warrenton, GA)
