The Lincoln Southeast Knights softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Grand Island Islanders to 1 in the Knights league win on Tuesday.

The Knights now possess a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Platte for a A District battle on Thursday, September 12. Lincoln Southeast will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 15-3 non-league loss to St. Cecilia (Hastings, NE). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-7.

With the loss, Grand Island moves to 2-13 on the season. The Islanders host Lincoln Northeast (Lincoln, NE) to confront the Rockets in a A District battle on Thursday, September 12. The Rockets come into the battle with a record of 4-7. Lincoln Northeast won 14-6 in their recent league battle against Columbus (Columbus, NE)
