The Hilldale Hornets (Muskogee, OK) softball routed the host Sallisaw Black Diamonds (Sallisaw, OK), 9-3 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

The Hornets now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wilson for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 12. Hilldale will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Ringling (Ringling, OK). The Eagles record now stands at 13-6.

With the loss, Sallisaw moves to 2-13 on the season. The Black diamonds travel to Stigler (Stigler, OK) to confront the Panthers in a 4A District 6 battle on Thursday, September 12. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 14-5. Stigler won 3-2 in their recent league battle against Checotah (Checotah, OK)
