In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Stratford Academy Eagles softball team scored a tight 9-2 win over the John Milledge Academy Trojans.

The Eagles (9-5) will now prepare for their match against Tattnall Square Academy (Macon, GA). The Trojans come into the GIAA Class AAA & AAAA District 6 match with a 15-2 record. In their last match, Tattnall Square Academy nipped Piedmont Academy (Monticello, GA), 13-10, in a league match.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Mount de Sales Academy Cavaliers (Macon, GA) in a GIAA Class AAA & AAAA District 6 match, on Thursday, September 12. John Milledge Academy will attempt to better on its 6-7 season record. The Cavaliers come into the match with a 0-8 record after their 12-0 league loss to First Presbyterian Day (Macon, GA).
