Lassiter Trojans (Marietta, GA) supporters left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Woodstock Wolverines (Woodstock, GA), 7-1 in a league game.

With the triumph, Lassiter improves its record to 11-3 on the year. The Trojans travel to Creekview (Canton, GA) to play the Grizzlies in a 5A Region 6 game on Thursday, September 12. The Grizzlies enter the game with a record of 10-7. Creekview won 3-0 in their recent league game against Riverwood (Sandy Springs, GA)

The Wolverines now hold a 8-10 record. They play next when they host Pope for a 5A Region 6 game on Thursday, September 12. Woodstock will play a Greyhounds squad coming off a 10-2 league win over Sequoyah (Canton, GA). The Greyhounds record now stands at 13-3.
