Nebraska High School Softball - Lexington bested by Southern Valley/Alma

The Southern Valley/Alma triumphed over the visiting Lexington Minutemen softball squad by a count of 12-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the play the Cozad Haymakers (Cozad, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 12. Southern Valley/Alma will attempt to upgrade on its 11-5 season record. The Haymakers enter the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 10-1 non-league loss to Aurora (Aurora, NE).

The Minutemen (1-12) will now prepare for their challenge against McCook (McCook, NE). The Bison enter the B District 9 challenge with a 13-3 record. In their last challenge, McCook overcame Kearney Catholic (Kearney, NE), 12-1, in a non-league challenge.
