In Tuesday's league match, the visiting North Paulding Wolfpack softball team scored a nice 9-1 win over the Walton Raiders.

The Wolfpack (16-1) will now prepare for their match against Etowah (Woodstock, GA). The Eagles come into the 6A Region 5 match with a 7-8 record. In their last match, Etowah notched a victory over Marietta (Marietta, GA), 16-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Raiders confront the Wheeler Wildcats (Marietta, GA) in a 6A Region 5 match, on Thursday, September 12. Walton will attempt to better on its 8-12 season record. The Wildcats come into the match with a 6-9 record after their 15-0 non-league loss to Kell (Marietta, GA).
