In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Altavista Colonels volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Buckingham Knights.

The Colonels (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Prince Edward County (Farmville, VA). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Prince Edward County beat Greensville County (Emporia, VA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Knights play the Lunenburg Central Chargers (Victoria, VA) in a James River challenge, on Thursday, September 12. Buckingham will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over William Campbell (Naruna, VA).
