In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Reed City Coyotes volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Big Rapids Cardinals.

The Coyotes (7-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Grant (Grant, MI). The Tigers come into the Central State challenge with a 6-9 record. In their last challenge, Grant beat Chippewa Hills (Remus, MI), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cardinals meet the Newaygo Lions (Newaygo, MI) in a Central State challenge, on Thursday, September 12. Big Rapids will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 9-15 record after their 3-0 league win over Tri County Area (Howard City, MI).
