North Carolina High School Volleyball - Burns over Thomas Jefferson

September 10, 2024: Mooresboro, NC 28114

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC) and the host Thomas Jefferson Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC), observed Burns's volleyball team top Thomas Jefferson by a count of 3-0.

The Bulldogs (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC). The Warriors enter the Southern Piedmont 1A/2A contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, East Gaston was knocked off by Cherryville (Cherryville, NC), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Gryphons battle the Shelby Golden Lions (Shelby, NC) in a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A contest, on Thursday, September 12. Thomas Jefferson will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record.
