In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Cleveland Central Wolves volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Yazoo City Indians.

The Wolves (3-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Greenville (Greenville, MS). The Hornets come into the Class 5A Region 2 challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Greenville lost by Canton (Canton, MS), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Indians play the Canton Tigers (Canton, MS) in a Class 5A Region 2 challenge, on Thursday, September 12. Yazoo City will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 8-2 record after their 3-1 league win over Greenville (Greenville, MS).
