The Crisp County Cougars volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Mitchell County Eagles to 0 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now possess a 14-8 record. They play next when they travel to Thomas County Central for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 17. Crisp County will play a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Valwood (Valdosta, GA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 7-7.

With the loss, Mitchell County drops to 2-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Randolph-Clay (Cuthbert, GA) to play the Red Devils in a 1A Area 1 outing on Thursday, September 12. The Red Devils come into the outing with a record of 1-4. Randolph-Clay lost 2-1 in their recent league outing against Chattahoochee County (Cusseta, GA)
