In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Croatan Cougars volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Richlands Wildcats.

The Cougars (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Pamlico County (Bayboro, NC). The Hurricanes come into the non-league challenge with a 8-3 record. In their last challenge, Pamlico County beat Lejeune (Camp Lejeune, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats play the Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC) in a Coastal 3A challenge, on Thursday, September 12. Richlands will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 3-2 league loss to Swansboro (Swansboro, NC).
