Georgia High School Volleyball - Darlington over Model

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Darlington Tigers (Rome, GA) and the host Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA), observed Darlington's volleyball team top Model by a count of 2-0.

The Tigers (16-8) will now prepare for their contest against Gordon Central (Calhoun, GA). The Warriors enter the 1A Area 7 contest with a 2-16 record. In their last contest, Gordon Central was knocked off by Gordon Lee (Chickamauga, GA), 2-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Blue Devils battle the Christian Heritage Lions (Dalton, GA) in a 1A Area 7 contest, on Thursday, September 12. Model will attempt to move on its 17-12 season record. The Lions enter the contest with a 9-8 record after their 2-1 league win over Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA).
