The Urchins now possess a 17-6 record. They play next when they travel to Ingomar for a Class 2A Region 2 bout on Thursday, September 12. East Union will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 3-0 league win over Water Valley (Water Valley, MS). The Falcons record now stands at 22-0.

With the loss, Saltillo drops to 4-9 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Center Hill (Olive Branch, MS) to clash with the Mustangs in a Class 6A Region 1 bout on Thursday, September 12. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 6-7. Center Hill won 3-0 in their recent league bout against South Panola (Batesville, MS)
