Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Edison Golden Bears (San Antonio, TX) and the host Lanier Voks (San Antonio, TX), observed Edison's volleyball team top Lanier by a count of 3-0.

The Golden Bears (11-13) will now prepare for their contest against Jefferson (San Antonio, TX). The Mustangs enter the 5A Region IV District 27 contest with a 5-19 record. In their last contest, Jefferson was knocked off by Seguin (Seguin, TX), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Voks battle the Highlands Owls (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 27 contest, on Friday, September 13. Lanier will attempt to move on its 9-10 season record. The Owls enter the contest with a 10-11 record after their 3-0 league win over Fox Tech (San Antonio, TX).
