North Carolina High School Volleyball - First Flight over Hertford County

The First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) volleyball knocked off the visiting Hertford County Bears (Ahoskie, NC), 3-0 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Nighthawks now possess a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Holmes for a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A bout on Thursday, September 12. First Flight will clash with a Aces team coming off a 3-0 league win over Currituck County (Barco, NC). The Aces record now stands at 11-1.

With the loss, Hertford County drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Bears host Camden County (Camden, NC) to clash with the Bruins in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A bout on Thursday, September 12. The Bruins come into the bout with a record of 7-1. Camden County won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC)
